Alright, we have heard about iPhone Apps that can your home’s music system, control your home’s lighting systems or even a “I am rich” app which cost $1000 and did nothing but display a glowing red gem on iPhone screen for the sole purpose of proving to onlookers one is of the moneyed class; that’s all it did.
Today, we tell you about one App which really amazed us – an iPhone app which can drive a car!
The iDriver, developed by the Spirit of Berlin team, connects to the driving circuitry via WiFi and has an acceleration button, a brake button, and a steering button to control the car. The front camera’s video is transmitted to the iPhone in real-time. It is equipped with various sensors and a drive-by-wire system for unmanned driving.
Amazing. Isn’t it?
