If you visit any video page on YouTube, you’ll notice a new sleek toolbar at the bottom of your browser page. That is the new feature YouTube rolled out recently.

The toolbar has just a few functionality as of now:

  • It lets you play and pause the video you are currently viewing.
  • Go to the next related video.
  • Mute and Un-mute the video volume.
  • Shows the Quick List.
  • History (for logged in users).
  • A button minimize the toolbar.

This is all what the toolbar offers right now. Maybe the guys at YouTube will fill in more functions into the it later to make the YouTube experience better.

So…

What are your views on the new toolbar feature? Like it? Will it help you or you’ll just ignore it?

UPDATE: The toolbar is visible only to Chrome users. Surprising!?

Looks really good, only prob is that I can’t see it.. Maybe its because I’m not logged in or maybe its a beta feature?
